Nandroxyl 250 by Kalpa Pharmaceuticals or Nandrolone (19-nortestosterone) is an anabolic steroid that may be present naturally in the human body but in very small quantities. Nandrolone is most commonly produced commercially as its Decanoate ester. Nandrolone Decanoate is usually used in the treatment of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women. It is also prescribed for some aplastic anaemias.
The uses of Nandrolone Decanoate include muscle growth, appetite stimulation and increased red blood cell (RBC) production and bone density enhancement. Clinical studies have proved its efficacy in treating anaemia, osteoporosis and some forms of neoplasia including breast cancer. It also acts as a progestin-based contraceptive.
